What is it?

Universidad Mexiquense offers  Spanish classes  in city of Toluca, México, for those  interested  in improving   their  Spanish  enjoying  the country of  México . It offers a program  of Spanish study  half a day  and the other  half day  students  go on cultural  activities.

Age:

For students  aged 14  years  and up.

Homestay :

Your new mexican family Warmly Welcomes You!!.

Students will live  with  Spanish-speaking families. Three meals  per day  are providing  by the host family. Your new family  looks forward to meeting you. Their are eager to help  you to improve your Spanish and will take  time to talk to you, making your feel  rigth  at home.

We hope you  will take the time  to write o  telephone  your host family  before you  come to Toluca. We are sure  you and your family  will become  good  friends  and make  along  lasting  friendships.

Outings:

Day trips  to places  of interest  in Toluca  and México  City  including  museums  and tourist attractions.

Learn Spanish:

All teachers are qualified  Spanish instructors.

Basic Spanish language skills  from listening and  speaking  to reading  and writing  will be covered, grammar  will be  reviewed,  and new vocabulary  will be  introduced.

Interactive group activities  such games, competitions  folk dance. Mexican handcrafts and group  projects  will be used  extensively  in the classrooms.

Journal-writing  after class time will  be required, and will  be read  and corrected by intructors.

Optional trips:

We'll make sure  that you don't  get bored  on weekends. You can choose  from many  exciting  trips and activities wich  we will assist  you in  organizing  and booking.

Peer lerners:

There will  be mexican   Spanish-speaking  students in field trips, overnight  trips and evening gatherings  to facilitate a more effective Spanish -speaking environment  and cultural  exchance.
